Hosted by the Milan Business English Network in association with Riverstone Language & Communications, our networking aperitivo at Fiori Oscuri last Thursday proved a big hit. Over thirty people attended and were able to enjoy some quality networking – as well as a tasty buffet and a drink in the salubrious surroundings of the bar that takes its name from one of the most enchanting streets in Milan’s Brera district – Fiori Oscuri.
Feedback for the event has been very positive: you can read all the comments on the Milan Business English network facebook page.
With a good mix of Italian, English, American, Irish, Polish and other nationalities, the evening was also a great opportunity for people to practise their language skills – especially English! Business cards were exchanged and contact details shared: Riverstone also provided a Business Card Drop Box for attendees who want to stay in touch with us and receive news, updates and invitations to our events.
We will return to Fiori Oscuri for next Milan Business English Network / Riverstone aperitivo on 7th January (starting at 7:30 pm) and we look forward to seeing everyone who came last week – plus those who couldn’t make it and anyone who would like to enjoy a great evening and make some useful contacts too.
For more information about the aperitivo, please visit the Milan Business English Network facebook group and the Riverstone facebook page.
You can also contact either Helen Fish or Robert Dennis at Riverstone.
See you on the 7th February!
